Technical Buyer (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- You will be responsible for the entire supplier portfolio, taking into account all procurement risks.
- You will be in charge of managing cost reduction and supplier development programs.
- You will be responsible for performing cost analyses, developing new solution strategies, ensuring security of supply, and continuously monitoring the procurement market.
- You will also be responsible for performing product calculations and making “make or buy” decisions.
- Your home: Operational purchasing for a defined product group (e.g., raw materials such as stainless steel and plastic products, assemblies, control cabinets, etc.).
- Regular communication with other departments to determine the correct requirements and technical specifications in the best possible way is a matter of course for you.
Education
- Completed training in a technical field
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing required
- Strong implementation skills and an emphatic, hands-on personality
- Process experience along the value chain in a manufacturing environment
- Independent and structured way of working as well as team spirit
- Flexibility, resilience, and problem-solving skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Fluent language skills in German and English
