Your tasks

  • Leadership & Development: Leading, mentoring and developing a dedicated team of automation engineers
  • Project responsibility: Planning, controlling, coordinating and on-time implementation of automation projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of all projects and milestones
  • Technical responsibility: Ensuring technical excellence in the programming of PLC, HMI and SCADA systems, as well as defining, reviewing and approving automation designs and technical documentation
  • Process optimization: Identifying and implementing automation potential to increase efficiency and standardization
  • Innovation & Digitalization: Actively shaping Industry 4. 0 initiatives and promotion of innovations in the field of automation
  • Communication with stakeholders: Close cooperation with internal specialist departments as well as external partners and customers, main contact for all topics relating to automation
  • Compliance & Tools: Ensuring compliance with security standards and managing relevant software tools in coordination with IT

Education

  • Completed training or studies in automation technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation, including at least 2 years in a management position
  • Sound knowledge of PLCs (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley), HMI and SCADA systems as well as industrial networks
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Innovative and future-oriented mindset
  • Business fluent in English and German
  • Process and product knowledge in the biopharmaceutical industry and GMP environment is an advantage
