Project Manager Consumables (m/f/d)

In this key role, you will lead and coordinate Engineering-to-Order (ETO) projects for customer-specific single-use solutions from initial request through successful delivery. As the central interface between Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other stakeholders, you will ensure transparency, clear priorities, and effective cross-functional collaboration. Your goal is to deliver customer requirements on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your tasks

• Lead and coordinate ETO projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Manage project schedules, risks, resources, dependencies, and escalations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure smooth collaboration across departments.
• Support Sales during feasibility assessments, project planning, and customer inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with quality, validation, qualification, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive project management best practices.

Education

• Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
• Several years of project management experience, ideally in a technical, regulated, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills and a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders.
• Understanding of product development, manufacturing, or engineering processes.
• Experience with single-use systems, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, or medical devices is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; German is considered an asset.
