Global ESG Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Planning, monitoring, and evaluating sustainability goals (ESG goals)
• Coordinating and tracking improvement measures
• Collaborating on the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a certified environmental management system (ISO 14001)
• Creation of sustainability policies and reports
• Review and monitoring of legal requirements in the area of ESG (environment, social, governance)
• Collaboration with internal interfaces (supply chain, development, legal, human resources, operations, etc.) to implement cross-departmental sustainability projects and improvements
• Occupational safety: Systemic support for the planned integration of an occupational safety management system (ISO 45001) into the existing integrated management system
• Continuous improvement and automation of ESG reporting in accordance with global standards
• Customer communication: Provision of ESG data, completion of customer-specific questionnaires and reporting requests
• Participation in comparative sustainability ratings (e.g., Ecovadis)
• Awareness raising and employee training

Education

• Relevant professional experience in sustainability, ESG, HSE desirable, alternatively several years of professional experience in quality or project management in the fields of pharmacy, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, medical technology, automotive, or similar.
• Completed technical or scientific education
• Initial experience with management systems according to ISO standards (e.g., quality management, environmental management, occupational safety management, information security), ideally already advanced knowledge or training as a certified system officer or internal auditor for at least one standard
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Very good project management and customer communication skills
