Director Engineering (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• You will develop innovative products in close cooperation with our customers, sales partners, sales and product line management.
• The entire technical management of engineering projects, schedules, budgets and the tracking of project progress are your area of responsibility.
• You are responsible for the technical & disciplinary management of the development department and ensuring growth.
• You are responsible for training / competence development of the product engineers / Team Automation for the long-term development and satisfaction of employees & customers.
• Ensure compliance with the process map, corporate culture as well as codes & standards, directives / guidelines of the entire product portfolio.
• You are responsible for the roadmap and further development of your own technology strategies.

Education

• Completed technical training, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering, physics, mechatronics or automation technology
• A high degree of independence and ability to assert oneself
• Excellent communication skills combined with a strong customer focus
• Several years of experience as a manager in mechanical or plant engineering
• Business fluent in written / spoken English and German
• Ideally previous experience in the biopharma industry (desired, but not required)
• Very high presence at the HQ in Kufstein, willingness to travel up to approx. 20%
