Sales Application Engineer EMEA (m/w/d)

This position will be responsible, in collaboration with the sales managers, to proactively drive the business by providing technical expertise to customers and sales colleagues.

• The Application Engineer is ensuring technical expertise in the field 
• Collaborate with sales managers to develop process solutions and recommend technical solutions to the industry 
• Develop new business at existing customers and new customers by providing technical expertise 
• Support customer trials, demo’s and trainings
• Lead the URS review, technical clarification & quotation process from technical perspective
• Provide end-to-end technical support for applications including aliquoting, freezing, thawing, storage and transportation of bulk drug substance 
• Support customer visits, prepare technical presentations and deliver hands-on product demonstrations 
• Manage onsite customer support, design reviews consumables, product investigations and integration of new business equipment
• Support sales for the technical closure during negotiations

Du bringst mit

• Degree in business, sciences or engineering 
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar technical role for a life science supplier is mandatory
• Experience working with configurator tools
• Understanding of production processes in the biopharma industry
• Strong technical knowhow with biopharmaceutical equipment and/or consumables preferably in the field of freezing, thawing and aliquoting 
• Willing to travel >50%
• English language
